1905 Rambler

In June 1908 Henry Ilandrew Valgamore bought a used Rambler in Minneapolis, built by Thomas B. Jeffery in Wisconsin. Successors to that company included Nash and American Motors. This car was the first one owned by a Jackson resident.

In the back seat are Mrs. Anderson, and, on the picture's left, Henry's wife Alice May Clark Valgamore, daughter of Chester Clark, Jr., and his wife, the former Sylvia Sharp. Alice was born April 20, 1858 in Sharon Center, Medina County, Ohio. Alice died August 04, 1937 in Glaston Ranch, Sweet Grass County, Montana.

In the front seat are Henry Ilandrew Valgamore and his son Cecil. Henry (son of Davis S. Valgamore and the former Cemantha Lane Brace) was born January 11, 1853 in Illinois and died October 29, 1911 in Bertha, Todd County, Minnesota. His son, Cecil Henry Valgamore was born May 22, 1900, probably in Jackson, Minnesota, and died December 29, 1974 in Sweet Grass County, Montana.

Henry and Alice were the great grandparents of Andra Schmidt.
