Sons of Charles Heist, who was Superintendant of Schools for the Clarence District near Buffalo, NY. The family lived on Ransom Road in Clarence.

Charles was the younger brother of Howard Heist, whose picture appears elsewhere in the Robertson Register. Howard's family moved to a house on Ransom Road, Clarence, when they left their farm.
