This photograph, taken in the early 1900s, is of the Valgamore Creamery that operated in Bertha, Minnesota for many years. The rather indistinct figure is Chester Davis Valgamore, son of the creamery operator, Henry I. Valgamore and his wife Alice May Clark.

Chester was born August 22, 1882 in Oswego, KS and died February 09, 1970 in California. On June 5, 1907 he married Daisy May Carlisle. They had one child, Vernon Merwin Valgamore.

Chester was a master ice cream maker in Minnesota and Livingston, MT.
