Enoch Callaway 1792-1859

Born in Wilkes County, Georgia, the son of John Callaway and Bethany Arnold.

He served as pastor of Sardis, Rehoboth, County Line, and Beaver Dam churches in Wilkes County, and of Bairdstown and Milltown churches in Oglethorpe County, Georgia.

Enoch was married in 1811 to Martha Reeves who was the daughter of Michael Reeves. Their ten children were: Elizabeth, William R, Lydia, Martha, Mary, Sarah, Abner Reeves, Eliza Ann, Brantly Mercer, and Reuben S. Callaway.
