James Thomas Fillingim and wife Dora Boyd Milner

They lived in Siloam, Georgia until the James' death in 1913. Dora then moved to Atlanta with her youngest two daughters, Lila Helen and Virginia Louise Fillingim. She ran a boarding house there on Spring Street. Dora died an accidental death when she stepped from a streetcar and was hit by a car in 1920.

Their children were: Frank, Robert, Whit, Veazey Cochrane, Julia Mae, Lila Helen Walker and Virginia Louise Armentrout (grandmother of Dianne Kerr).

The Fillingim name is linked to the McWhorter family. Also, Armentrout, Windham and Kerr are all linked to the McWhorter heritage.
