Born 11 June 1840 in Unterschoenthal, Wurtemberg Germany; died 14 February 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Frederick came to the US from Breman Germany on the "Hindu" arriving in Baltimore in 1854.

He married Mary Elizabeth List in 1868 in Baltimore, Maryland.
