John Henry Green

John Henry Green, son of Thomas Green and Catherine Scales was born September 7, 1851 in the state of New York and moved with his parents to Monroe County, Michigan in 1870. He died at the age of fifty-five on his birthday September 7, 1906.

Henry was married March 17, 1880 to Ellen (Ella) Jane Peters, the daughter of Robert R. Peters and Harriet Northrup. Ella was born in Monroe County, Michigan on September 30, 1861 and died in 1940 on the 8th of June in Detroit, Michigan..

Their children were: Carrie Mae Green (1881-1955) and Howard Green (1884-1972).
