Jane Scales Watson and Catherine Scales Green, sisters.

Catherine Scales was born May 9,1829 in Ireland, the daughter of Nathen Scales. She married Thomas Green who was born 1831 in Ireland.He lived in New York, then moved to London, Ontario Canada and finally in 1863 to Michigan. Catherine died April 13, 1905 in Monroe County, Michigan.

Thomas and Catherine were the parents of John Henry Green who was born in 1851, the oldest of eight children.

Jane Scales born about 1832 in Ireland, married ThomasWatson who was born about 1831 in Canada. Their children were: Mary E. born about 1858 Canada, Ann E. born about 1860 in Canada, Thomas James born about 1863 in New York and Agnes J. born about 1871 in Michigan.
