Thomas and Catherine Scales Green

Thomas Green was born 1831 in Ireland and settled in Michigan in 1863 after living in New York and London, Ontario, Canada. Thomas was married to Catherine Scales who was the daughter of Nathen Scales of Ireland.

Thomas and Catherine were the parents of eight children. John Henry Green, the eldest, was born in 1851. A daughter, Jane Green (Mrs. Henry Wilton) was born in 1853 or 1854 in New York, Catherine (Katie) Green was born in 1858 and married John Carter.
