William Edward Wilton was born 10 July 1853. He was married 11 October 1876 to Mary E. Peters who was born 13 March 1860, the daughter of Robert R. Peters and Harriet Elizabeth Northrup. Mary died 1 June 1937 (her tombstone gives 1907 as the death date but is thought to be in error)

Tombstones indicate two children: Frankie 1886-1894, Arthur 1877-1908. No record for Jacob J.
