George Adolph Lange

George Adolph Lange, the son of Hermann Friedrich Lange and Louise Ida Böhme, was born 26 May 1870 in Döbeln, Saxony, Germany and died 28 May 1922 in Detroit, Michigan.

He was married to Elsa May Quenzel who was born 30 August 1880 in Apolde, Saxony, Germany and died 21 March 1964 in Haddon Heights, New Jersey. She was the daughter of Charles Frederick Quenzel and Clara W. Donndorf.

The four sons of George Adolph Lange and Elsa May Quenzel were:
1. Robert George Lange, b. 22 Jun 1900, Philadelphia, PA, m. Doris Irene McKenzie 14 Aug 1926, d. 29 Oct 1955, Birmingham, MI
2. Gilbert Roosevelt Lange, b. 6 May 1902, Philadelphia, PA, d. 10 May 1963, Poughkeepsie, NY
3. Eaton Hope Lange, b.14 Jan 1907, Detroit, MI, d. 8 Jan 1927.
4. Paul Emerson Lange, b. 5 May 1915, Detroit, MI, m. Alice Virginia Edwards 2 Jun 1951, both living in 2000.
