Robert Shorter Vining born 3 Sep 1875 died 16 Dec 1933 was married 13 May 1896 to Leona Leonard who was born 14 Aug 1882 died 25 Jun 1949.

Robert and Leona were both school teachers in Murray County Georgia before moving to Dalton, Georgia where he opened a wholesale grocery business.
