Born 25 November 1880, died 20 June 1953, the son of Charles Decatur Seckinger and Ella Francis Brown. He was married 18 September 1907 to Rosa Anna Schwartz.

According to Pearl Rhan Gnann in "Georgia Salzburgers and Allied Families," the name Seckinger is derived from the town Sackingen on the Rhine in Baden.
