Mary was born May 28, 1865 in Minnesota and died June 19, 1955 in Wilmington, California. She was the daughter of Chester Clark, Jr. and his wife Sylvia Sharp.

On March 17, 1910 Mary wed Charles A. Thomas; they had no children.

Charles was a widower who had two daughters from a former marriage: Clara (who became Mrs. Ernis Ladner) and Queen (who became Mrs. Bill Evans) who were born in 1903 and 1905, respectiverly.

Mary was the great, great aunt of Andra Schmidt.
