John Alexander McCorkle 1868-1951

The son of John J. McCorkle and Elizabeth McLeod of McKinley, Alabama. He moved to Girard, Louisiana with his brother Francis Neil McCorkle where they went into business. They married sisters: Francis Neil married Bessie Brashear, and John married Virginia Brashear.

John was born Sept. 1, 1868 in McKinley, Alabama, and died November 9, 1951 in Crowley, LA.
