Elizabeth (Bess) McWhorter 1900-1975

Born in Lylerly, Georgia, the daughter of John Welby McWhorter and Eva Douglas Zuber, she graduated from Georgia Normal and Industrial College at Milledgeville, Georgia and taught school at Lenoir, North Carolina.

After retirement she moved to Winder, Georgia where she shared a house with her two sisters, Sara Mae and Minnie McWhorter.
