Lucien Manuel, Hiram Jacobs, Hiram Brewington, Weldon Gordon, and Purse Strickland (not necessarily in that order) standing on the gallows just prior to being hanged.

The man, fourth from left, with his hand resting on the gallows, is probably Sheriff George W. Dunham.

The Scuffletonians were guilty of various murders committed in Montgomery County earlier that year.
