Henry Callaway McWhorter 1868-1947

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of William Hugh McWhorter and Mary Elizabeth Cheney. His family moved to Buckhead, Georgia after his father died in 1855.

Henry was twice married, first to Myrtle Boswell in 1894, and his second marriage in 1910 was to Mattie Eugenia Wallace.

He served as principal of the Buckhead School 1910-12, was appointed Postmaster in 1914 and was a carpenter.
