William Harrison McWhorter 1815-1887

Son of Hugh McWhorter and Helena Ligon. He was married to Adaline Edmondson and moved to Chambers County, Alabama where he farmed and served as the first Postmaster of New Harmony.

After twenty years they moved to Greene County, Georgia where he served as Judge of the 19th District.
