Richard Henry Porter 1849-1918

Born in Apalachicola, Florida, the second son of Richard Gibbs Porter and Mary Tibbits Salter.

Clerk of the Circuit Court in Apalachicola, Florida. He was married in 1880 to Virginia Raney who was the daughter of David Greenway Raney and Harriet Frances Jordan. Their children were: Harriet Frances, Mary Tibbits, Virginia Raney, Richard Henry Jr, Elizabeth Lamar and Gilbert Rodman Porter.
