Pansy was born February 18, 1881 in Lake City, Minnesota and died December 30, 1973 in St. Paul, Minnesota at age 92. She was the daughter of Franklin Roberts and Effie A. Lewis.

Pansy was married December 31, 1901 to August Adolph Manke who was the son of August F. Manke and Crescentia Mueller.
