Lawrence Frank Eder, MD 1900-1942

Known as "Larry" he was born in Blue Earth, Minnesota, the son of Henry Eder and Madelaine Young. According to his obituary, Lawrence was a nationally known obstetrician and surgeon who graduated from the medical school of the University of Minnesota in 1923 and moved to Santa Barbara, California in 1928 and became affilliated with the Santa Barbara Clinic two years later. He died at forty-two years, after a short illness and was survived by his widow, Margaret Streaker, and a son, Henry Streaker Eder.
