Born 1902 the son of Henry Francis Padgham and Flora Holt, he was married 1930 to Augusta Susan Glover who was the daughter of William Reid Glover and Julia Sumner Fletcher.

The four children of Henry and Augusta were: Henry F. III, William G., Richard E. and Ann Padgham.
