Robert was married to Margaret Ann Pierson. Her father was Ancel Pierson and her mother was Francis Howell. Robert raised a large family in Texas. Children were: Lonnie, William Homer, Maude, Montye, Foster Lee, Myrtle, Stella, Ancell, and Mable Pierson.

Margaret Ann (Maggie) Pierson 1858-1913
Maggie was born in Alabama and went west after theCivil War with her mother and father. She married in Texas and raised her family there. Maggie had beautiful penmanship.
