Howard Heist's father was very active in this church. The baby in the picture was named Willard, after Howard Heist's youngest brother. This family is also of interest because their daughter (Willard's sister) was Dorothy Thompson, who became a noted political journalist and was the second wife of Sinclair Lewis (see Encyclopedia Britannica).
