Vernon Merwin Valgamore was born October 12, 1909 probably in Minnesota. He was the son of Chester Davis Valgamore and Daisy May Carlisle.

He married Christine Young, called Chena, in 1934. They had one daughter, Nancy Carol Valgamore.

Vernon died in Maricopa, AZ or Midland, TX January 1980.
