Kenneth Heist, age about 15, Willard Heist, and Ella Wende Heist, Willard's second wife.

After Cora died, when Ken was about 14, Willard remarried. The family moved to Arizona for Willard's health (asthma). After Willard's death, Ken went to college at the University of Arizona, where he was scouted for National League Baseball. He played baseball professionally for awhile.
